Buddhism - Entrepreneur Generations

Lots of people ask me about Buddhism so I will be straight to the point in what I believe but you can look and study deeper.  Buddhism is not a religion, it's a philosophy that the mind is everything.  Buddhism is when your happiness and your own freedom is on your own shoulders.  Buddhist monks taught psychology to the western world and what you see today as psychiatrists or counsellors was taught many years ago in India to Britain by the eastern practice of Buddhism to give education o mind.  So if you want help on your studies of the mind then going to the source can help you pass your exams.  I myself have passed these educational courses based on Carl Rodgers and Abraham Maslow's modern theory of psychology which come from
Buddhism .

Buddhism is naïvely criticized as a "negative" or "pessimistic" religion and philosophy so it has been modernised in western culture to be brought into the education system, I laugh calling the professionals Buddhists with suits when I've given talks. You might see that life is not all misery and disappointment as it offers many kinds of happiness and sublime joy. Why would Buddhists then obsess with unsatisfactoriness and suffering first?

The Buddha (which means awakened). based his teachings on a frank assessment of our plight as humans.  There is unsatisfactoriness and suffering in the world. No one can argue this fact because Dukkha (anxiety, stress, anxiety, suffering) lurks behind even the highest forms of worldly pleasure and joy, for, sooner or later, as surely as night follows day, that happiness must come to an end.

If the Buddha's teachings where to stop there, then we might indeed regard them as pessimistic and life as utterly hopeless. But, like a doctor who prescribes a remedy for an illness, the Buddha offers both a hope by action (the third Noble Truth) and a cure (the fourth). The Buddha's teachings give cause for unparalleled optimism and joy. The teachings offer as their reward the noblest, truest kind of happiness, and give profound value and meaning to an otherwise grim existence. One modern teacher summed it up well: "Buddhism is the serious pursuit of happiness." I myself have used some of the steps to lead me to a life of fulfilment which is my strong point, that's what I share but Buddhism has helped me along the way.

Buddha was a prince, his mum died at his birth, his dad tried to hide the pains of the world, he escaped the palace, looked at people dying and sick, starved himself, cut of his hair, lived in all spiritual paths to find the meaning to death and differences. Then under a tree in meditation he fought the deepest corridors of his mind and faced the devil inside himself and knew that life was everything, it was blissful and it was his mindset that was everything then had meaning by rescuing and reached the stage of bliss & he opened up to the world and a young girl then gave him food which poisoned him but the simple act of accepting this kindness from the girl and living his life in appreciation, contribution, joy and love he reached nirvana. He became an enlightened human being, and his example of overcoming the suffering on earth is Buddhism.

To reach the acceptance of self, meditate and love life as it is by correcting your own mind.  There is no heaven or rules to follow other than your own story being your own guide to meditation.  Once again your happiness, your freedom and your life is on your own shoulders & that's Buddhism summed up.  I don't talk about it much because people don't see Buddhism this way that they can overcome anything they want to in life and can use the methods and still be anything the are now, it's not about being one thing, it's about everything so it's available for anyone to enjoy like a cafe.  So rather than talk religion I just share my own transformation to show that redemption, hope and living a good life is possible.

My religion is simple ~ water, fruit & veg, meditation and sleeping well and fulfilment is a choice. Religion simply means you are tied to a commitment, the word itself makes people feel fear because of the modern media. Religion is a set of rules and values you follow for yourself, you might find this in a marriage, a sport, a football team, a life's mission, a church or with nature and animals. Your religion is your own personal relationship to your inner core, your belief system and your happiness is yours whatever that is. Your happiness, your freedom, your fulfilment and your joy is on your own shoulders & its up to you how you want to share that too.
