My finish line and now watching others master theirs :) - Entrepreneur Generations

What a beautiful journey we are all on on in this life.  I am at this stage looking back on everything with a smile and after my daughters goodnight story to me tonight makes me fulfilled to know that everything, every step, every mile, every connection, every breath and every story has all been worth it & I'm at that stage in life where I just want to give everything away now, all the ideas, philosophies, stories, ideas and tips and just keep all the personal and loving relationships closed.  From my family, to friends and to those I share these moments with and privately online to but in open online media I want to share the journey in a new and personal way. To continually add value into your life with words, writing, quotes, videos and everything that I can while I embrace every part of this ultra lifestyle I've created.

Now you can laugh at why I was racing every weekend now, getting the fast results and opening up so much in the process. There was a time limit I put on it and just went for it as I knew weekends would become the times with my daughter and the time to slow down, love and embrace all the beauty in life. I still run, train and enjoy every part of the lifestyle off course, fruit, vegetables, water, meditation, books and study, it's 24/7. That's all still thriving but my finish line has been met and that's why I took the marathon from 4:53 to 2:55 so soon and why I ran every week & why I wasn't competing with anyone else on the way and why all the good things came into my life from that intention. My intention was never in the competition, my intention was being my best self and creating and designing a lifestyle that I could openly share, that I could love and give to the life around me in so many ways. I call it selfish everyone says it isn't, but I believe we have to fix, love and grow in ourselves so we can do the same for others, I see selfish as a lovely word and respect people who are selfish to take time for themselves, if they didn't, how could they take time for anyone else?

That's why I've been unstoppable & that's why I'm all in, that's why I don't stop because it's who I am now and yes my mind is bulletproof as you would of learned on the journey, it's great. When you read me closely though then you just read you because we connect to people like us & this has been a journey like no other and by me being the best of me and you being the best of you then we share that love, compassion, respect and appreciation of the intention of this journey forward....

But yes I still have an ego like all men do and will do 3 races next year, London marathon, 100 miler and a 24 hour race in Barcelona.  The marathon is the elite of running with the guys at the front dominating the field and I love doing that distance because it's where I started.  What I love and the spirit of the distance, it's the distance and time you really compete with on that day as mo Farah and kipsang look hard to catch in my Asics.  The 100 miler is what I love though, just saying the distance bursts my face into a smile. Running for 100 miles, then the 24 hour track race is how many miles you can run in the 24 hours around in a circle as fast as you can on the track (yes, challenging) which is a mental challenge & what I've learned is when it comes to mental toughness then that's where I thrive and I've let the rest go as if it doesn't challenge my psychologically then I don't see the point, I don't get the same feeling at other ultras of less than 100 miles and it's a personal thing, we all decide our own ultra and that's the beauty of it. For me my ultra is 100 miles or the 24 hours as that's the ones I will have significance for just like I don't keep my best 25 mile time or best 27 mile time because the marathon itself is 26.2 so that's what I like 26.2, 100 and 24 hours.   52 weeks in a year so 3 with a race and the rest of the year to be in the moment with who I love, doing what I love and keeping connected with the world all at the same time.  Who says you can't have it all? You can! & never listen to anyone who tells you otherwise!  168 hours in the week ... Mmmmm could maybe even run as many miles as there is in the week on a track in the 24 hours? I'm kidding, I'm not the all I'm crazy adventure guy you think and as many people find out now.  I love hot baths, candles and meditation, fruit&vegetable, reading, writing and all the other things too like I always have. I had to be a Glasgow tough guy for a few years before I became an athlete hiding that I loved candles in the bath so now I embrace the hippy tree hugging side of me and vegan food but probably the most unlikeliest Glaswegian vegan plant based fruit and veg eating guy you'll ever meet? I just like to stand in awe of the other athletes nod who master there craft, as I master my own craft of the fulfilled life.

My goal was very simple in athletics to be the best dad that I could be by example and have all the personal relationships in my life mindful and use my online journey first to share my own journey, then to continually connect, share with others, share education, ideas, notes, philosophies and then just share the progression of growth and never ending self improvement to everyone that my life connects to on the journey in the same way I was inspired all those years ago.  Thank you all for you being you and for connecting to me for being me, namaste 🌍❤️📝
