Change is always a matter of motivation, drive, strong reasons and putting your time completely on what you want. These things I've held close and can now share them as I've got to where I am now, can write these parts down now because what's done is finished. I'm all in with the lifestyle and love how everything has worked out. Got time, people in my life, house, fruit & veg diet and have less running events and now competing at events and in the words of Halle Gabrelselassie to be an athlete you need to be selfish & you do. When planning, living and designing your life you need to be selfish in your needs, your freedom, your happiness so you can give these things to those you love.
I love meditation, mindfulness, writing, eating plant based foods (vegan), running and all the people in my life and I keep these parts private. This is what I focus on now. I had a lot of success in my life change and they have been public & as you mat notice over blogs in past few months I've had a change in thinking about racing, the lifestyle and everything else. It's great to question, think and analyse ourselves and it's been a character building few months that have showed me that I'm on the right road because I chose it. The friends I have are friends I've met on the journey and I've said goodbye to old times, personal life is personal and have amazing times with my daughter. Forever blessed and grateful for the whole journey, the lifestyle and the choices.
I live for health and freedom because that's what my life is about. I created this lifestyle with a system in place that I can't lose, managing my own life, time, values and what I want & why I want it all and believe this is an art form of fulfilment. Stepped away to the painting to look , study snd realise that it was all easy and simple. The hard part was just not giving in to other people's demands. So I eat fruit, run, write, mediate, have great relationships and share the journey online. There's no secrets, no grand plans, just a simple, organised, healthy life based on life experiences and constant & never ending self improvement.
