John Tilbury, Eddie Prévost and Keith Rowe: AMM
Friday 20th- Sun 29th November marks the dates for this year's Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival.
Among the jazz/improv highlights at this year’s festival are concerts by guitarist Derek Bailey, and two UK premieres by George Lewis, US composer, improviser and trombonist - a chamber opera ‘Afterword’ on Sunday 22 November at the Lawrence Batley Theatre and ‘Construction Set TM’, a brand new work scored for the Berlin Splitter Orchester and featuring the composer himself at trombone soloist, at St Paul’s Hall on Friday 27 November. There is also a celebration of the work of AMM with the first appearance together in a decade of John Tilbury, Eddie Prévost and Keith Rowe in the closing concert.
