Piero heads to Grimsby - Entrepreneur Generations

Gill Wilde writes

For their gig on Wednesday 11th November Grimsby Jazz presents the return of a much-requested musician, Piero Tucci. He has appeared a number of times at the club as a sideman with other bands (most often the Nicola Farnon Band), and shown his versatility as a multi-instrumentalist. His main instrument is piano, on which he excels as an invigorating, swinging performer. He is equally wonderful on alto and tenor saxophone. A little sweetener in all this heavy swinging is his lovely accordion playing, which invokes a Hot Club de France feeling into the mix. Piero is a jazz musician with a satisfaction guaranteed label attached, so in the words of Fats Waller “the joint will be jumping”.

He is accompanied by Jamie Taylor guitar, Pete Turner bass and Dave Walsh drums.
