Spending time with family over Christmas is a blessing like no other, time with our daughter, watching my nephews nativity play and looking deeper into what my own life change and results was all about. I look back on all of our life's with everything and a lot of smiling now with my dad and my mum in the old times too them both being the grandparents now and I'm the one still reading books and studying but will one day be at their age too.
I always knew that my years of playing chess and reading books would make sense in the long run when I smile looking back. I used to win the chess tournaments in school, like I won the poker tournaments later in life but messed up how I celebrated. Winning to me is living life on your own terms by reading things well, knowing how it all works for you and setting yourself up to live an extraordinary life for who and what you love. Yes, I've failed a million times over and over but to have all of our dysfunctional family all at our best apart but together is a perfect way to be at Christmas time.
There's not a day that goes by that I'm not thankful for everyone in my life who's supported me, gave me time, kindness and that love. I'm also grateful to the people who tried to do the opposite also as it showed me that in life you've got to follow your own heart and sing your own song regardless of how many times you may have failed in the past and regardless of who says you can't, let results of character speak, because they always do over say 100 miles. You just always pick yourself up, you always learn to be a kid again and you make life fun even when the crowd laugh at you at a false line of a nativity play without letting it effect your public speaking (young ones are just inspirational) you do your best for you, your family, to make strangers smile and for animals too. To me, that's what a real man (a real adult) does, a real adult takes full responsibility for their actions, their lifestyle, their health and then everything else along with it to be the best that they possibly can for their family, friends, strangers and animals. Get around where it's better, it's better on this side, the side of growth and contribution, be all you can be!
This whole journey started with no hope in a locked cage in Greece, my past had broken my bones and scarred my body in a million pieces and I look back smiling as it all helped unleash and unlock the greatest thing in my life, the smile to look back and the heart to go on, to wear the pain like a badge of honour. The courage to go on, the persistence to keep on going and the heart to open up and connect to others, my own mind and my body to sharpen this unbreakable character and develop the sharp mind, the tremendous heart and have the guts to leave the broken pieces and whatever bad things tried to bury me and choose to build houses when others threw those bricks on top at that time.
I am never going to feel guilty about success and living a good life, so here's to the future, to fruit and vegetables and winning the greatest gift that any man could ever have ..... The love from others and the unconditional love for his daughter and his mission in life in finding purpose and peace and living in passion.
When your home in your mind and lifestyle, there's just not much more to say. But I go on everyday now knowing that no human being has reached their full potential, not me, not anyone, it's a progressive life journey, of a deep love for every moment, for everyday and it's always lesson of love or a challenge of character in every person you meet on your journey. Be your best self and make the rest of your life the best of your life. Thank you!
