Big Jazz names at Liverpool St Georges Hall - Entrepreneur Generations

Liverpool’s St George’s Hall has announced its most dynamic Concert Room programme in recent years, top artists on the UK and international touring circuit are booked in to the magnificent Concert Room – the eclectic programme covers a wide variety of music genres, comedy, cabaret and the spoken word.

The magnificent Concert Room is the jewel in the crown of the iconic St George’s Hall on Lime Street. Charles Dickens himself gave many readings on the stage and considered it a perfect venue. It was originally designed by Charles Robert Cockerell to accommodate an orchestra and provides excellent acoustics, the beautiful neo-classical interior is the perfect backdrop to any live performance artist.

Jazz is high on the agenda especially in March with Barb Jungr performing her new album Shelter From The Storm featuring Laurence Hobgood. Double MOBO Award Winning Saxophonist Yolande Brown, British jazz diva Jacqui Dankworth with American vocalist/pianist Charlie Wood and one of the greatest Jazz vocalists Ian Shaw.
