There's some scorching gigs at the Globe for the end of July. The very best jazz piano from the Alan Glen Trio and gypsy jazz from Swing 16. Before that there's cool mainstream jazz from Blue Jazz Sextet on Saturday 23 July. And we've got more information about our August bank holiday Monday dance / jazz gig featuring the Argentinian Tango & Jazz Quartet on their world tour. There's also the weekly Take it to the Bridge Jam session every Wednesday and the More Jam on Sunday 24 July. Here's the gigs-

Veteran piano maestro Alan Glen, ably supported by John Pope on double bass and Sid White on drums, returns to the Globe for a celebratory night of superb classic jazz.

Tango & Jazz - the real deal from Argentina

Jazz.Coop is delighted to welcome the Tango & Jazz Quartet for a special day of Argentinian music and dancing at the Globe. For dancers, there will be a milonga (social dance) at 3-6pm including a live set from the band.

Summer Weekend Workshop

A whole weekend of listening and playing in the company of others who want to learn and improve jazz skills. After our first weekend workshop in August 2015 was an outstanding success, this year we are running a similar weekend, this time with tutors James Birkett and Paul Edis,
