From the Financial Times, via brother Andrew.  It's advice very much in line with J. Paul Getty's words of wisdom:
Gerald Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster and an important landlord in central London, has died at just 64. His fortune, which his son will inherit, has been valued at £9bn. 
An FT colleague, working through a standard set of questions, once asked him what advice he’d give to young entrepreneurs keen to emulate his success. 
“Make sure they have an ancestor who was a very close friend of William the Conqueror,” he replied.
