RV Jazz and Blues 10th Anniversary 2017 marks 10 years of the Ribble Valley Jazz and Blues Club. And to celebrate this landmark, a year of special events gets underway when the club’s two resident big bands lock horns.

The Ribble Valley Jazz Collective are a community band formed in 2012 featuring 20 enthusiastic local musicians who have been expertly led by Paul Rigby, one of the most talented band leaders in the North West. Three years on, the collective has grown in confidence and musical ability and never fail to entertain audiences from all across the County and beyond.

Blu Funk Syndicate feature Matt Collinge on Bass guitar and the delightful, charismatic singer Abigail Fielding on vocals. Embarking on another busy year, expect a more 'funky' repertoire of tunes from this band who are also mentored by Paul Rigby. Bring your dancing shoes!
