New Jazz Sessions 2017 @ The Grove Inn - Entrepreneur Generations

The monthly gigs in October, November and December at Leeds Grove Inn  have started to show some of the fresh jazz talent on the Leeds music scene. The bands playing in the new year promise to build on that reputation.

Sunday 22nd Jan – King and I
Adding new ideas and arrangements to the benefits of an established band , King and I come to reconnect with the Grove, “one of our favourite small jazz venues”, where they played at the old Grove Jazz Club. We have been exploring ways of physically playing our instruments very quietly, and ways of playing and interacting as a group, to produce an overall effect of quietness. You may be surprised.....” The band play their own compositions, jazz standards , and free improvisation.
