Sidmouth is now officially a Fairtrade town:

Coming up:

We’re also organising a range of events for Fairtrade Fortnight (27 Feb – 12 March). These will include a children’s “design a poster” competition in conjunction with Sidmouth Library, and a visit to Kennaway House on Thursday 9 March by Ghanaian cocoa farmers from Kuapa Kokoo (producers of cocoa for Divine Chocolate and Co-op chocolate). More details will be available soon, but in the meantime we are encouraging businesses, schools, churches and other community groups to organise a coffee break with Fairtrade refreshments during the fortnight, in keeping with this year’s theme “Take a Fairtrade Break”.
