Guitarist John Wheatcroft seamlessly integrates the sound and approach of modern jazz, blues, rock and gypsy jazz, producing a sound that is both rooted in the traditions of each genre and vital, forward thinking and highly original. This evening’s quartet will be a mix of jazz and blues standards, instrumentals and unique arrangements, featuring Cathy Dignam on vocals, effortlessly combining elegant jazz sophistication with authentic blues feeling, the young virtuoso Jake Woodward on drums and the rock solid upright bass playing of Paul O’Shaughnessy.
