This year there’s a very special programme of top quality jazz for our fifteenth anniversary at Scarborough Jazz Festival. We kick off with a bang not a whimper with the amazing New York Brass Band. And then, over the weekend:
 
Two outstanding big bands
Mike Gibbs Celebrates his 80th Birthday - with the Hans Koller 17 piece Big Band.  Stan Tracey Legacy Big Band led by his son Clark.

Jazz Songsters
Polly Gibbons, Mads Mathias

Keyboard virtuosos
Jason Rebello, Janette Mason's Red Alert

Wandering Monster

A variety of swinging modern jazz
Clarinet Maestros, Gilad Atzmon, Alan Barnes & The Lowest Common Denominator, Hexagonal, Loire Funk All Stars, Nicolas Meier Quartet, Nikki Iles & Stan Sultzman, Seven Pieces of Silver,

All in the wonderful Spa Grand Hall with lots of exciting fringe events.  And of course our incomparable compere Alan Barnes.
