
The
U.S. Department of Agriculture will host a free webinar from 1-2 p.m. EST Nov. 17 to discuss the agency's annual Rural America at a Glance report, which highlights the most recent indicators of social and economic conditions in rural areas of the nation. USDA Economic Research Service geographer John Cromartie will lead the webinar, focusing on changes in population, employment, income, poverty, and broadband internet access. The 2017 edition of the report will be released Nov. 16 on
this page. The 2016 report can be found
