A new web-based interactive platform aims to help residents, public health scientists, medical professionals and community organizations create and share data about the local impacts of oil and gas drilling. The
Environmental Health Channel was developed by the Create Lab at
Carnegie Mellon University in partnership with the
Environmental Health Project, with support from the
Pittsburgh Foundation. The data is self-reported and includes physical and psychosocial health symptoms, particulate pollution air measurements, and personal narratives from residents.
The Environmental Health Project will host a free webinar at 12:30 PM EST on Nov. 30 to demonstrate how to use the EHC.
