Rural senior citizens routinely face problems with obtaining transportation, receiving and being able to pay for reliable medical care, and social isolation. The Rural Health Information Hub will present a free webinar at 1 p.m. ET on Dec. 17 to discuss how such challenges can be overcome in order to provide supportive services and caregiving for rural seniors.
The presenters will also talk about policy recommendations for improving the lives of rural seniors, as detailed in a report from the National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services to the Department of Health and Human Services.
