Jamil Sheriff Quartet
“Jamil Sheriff is the Head of Jazz at Leeds college of music and has been described in the Times as “Excellent northern pianist who brings together a range of classic, contemporary and urban approaches”. He brings with him an outstanding quartet – Joel Purnell (tenor saxophone), Dave Walsh (drums) and Richard Hammond (bass). This is a first rate group that plays music from the Great American Songbook.
