"It’s no secret that Native Americans receive very little national news coverage and are often simply erased from nationwide conversations about race in this country. (Take CNN’s usage of the phrase “something else” to refer to voters who are not white, Latinx, Black or Asian during last year’s presidential election, for instance.)," Edwards writes.
