The
U.S. Agriculture Department's
Economic Research Service will host a
free, hour-long webinar at 4 p.m. ET Thursday, Dec. 9, to discuss the findings in its "America's Diverse Family Farms: 2021 Edition" report. The report is to be published earlier that day.
Agricultural economist Christine Witt will host the webinar. From the website: "This year's edition explores farm operating expenses, pandemic-related changes in direct sales, pandemic-related household unemployment, and the distribution of USDA and non-USDA pandemic assistance farms received in 2020."
