Wigan Jazz - Highlights of 2021 - Entrepreneur Generations

I would like to name the following as our highlights from this Wigan Jazz year (actually it was July to December for live events)

* Announcing to stage the Al Wood Quartet (Al Wood, Dave Lynane, Martin Longhawn, Dave Hassell) for the first gig back.

* Hearing the powerhouse SK2 Jazz Orchestra directed by Dave Tyas on their return to Wigan and to live concerts.

* Listening and watching the amazing Nicola Farnon Trio…not only a wonderful performance but a masterclass in vocal presentation…Phil Johnson and Richard Wetherall were amazing too!

* Hearing (and seeing video) of Cape Town saxophonist Dan Shout’s amazing composition  ‘Autumn in Rondebosch’ with his quintet and string section…appearing in Wigan soon !!
