Why do people overeat and why are they overweight? - Entrepreneur Generations

People are overweight and overeat because they crave human emotional needs, they see food as comfort, as happiness and to give a feeling of fulfilling a human need in their life. Yes you can say you can't get a pizza tree, or a cheeseburger tree and it's all just chemicals of a sugar addiction in made up food and yes you can say people should eat this or that instead, but it's the modern world and to be healthy you have to unlearn what you've been taught not be taught more, but let me give you more of an insight.

Humans know what's healthy, they are not idiots! But changing someone's food you change their whole childhood, their whole culture, what they know as Indian people eat curry like Mexicans have burritos and scots have porridge or deep fried Italian pizza now. If an adult eating a cake for example has a feeling of love when their own grandmother gave them a cake growing up, then that is their emotional comfort in food by remembering that love of connection (just like Christmas dinner). Most kids in the western world are given ice cream and chocolate as treats now so it's no wonder that 80% of the country are overweight and sick, but just because they are overweight and sick does not mean you start disrespecting people, start shoving new facts down there face and telling them to get fit and active now because it's a deep psychology you are going against, not just the way a person looks or eats. You need to understand this when being with people, everyone wants to be healthy but there's so much information confusing people and that's why I always preach that people are already good enough to have all that they want from life, they just need to know what emotions they want not things. Inner world will always match the outer, and your lifestyle will show this.

The new year is coming up, and mostly everyone is going to go on a diet and new fitness plan so let me write from experience after answering an online question I felt the need to share this from a deeper part of me. I lost massive weight in the past back in 2004 and put all the weight back on again after going back to the old peer group, old people and old social circles and the reason to get fit and lose weight back then was to get a girlfriend and feel good on the outside, to look good for the beach really rather than for myself so I focused on the outer world rather than inner mindset. Later in life I have lost 9 stone became an athlete on the journey too and plant based also, the emotions are deep from the inner to be a role model to my daughter, the love I have of myself, what I share with animals and nature and what I can give to life on the outside of what my inside has. Animals go through a lot so I don't eat then for that and will forever feel fulfilled in my own emotional life choices in my own personal development for who and what I love, the results in this lifestyle are where I get the empowered inner feeling to feel the human need of growth and contribution while I am alive, and that is priceless.



Food to me is a way of life, a natural resource and the body is the only place I ever have to live in so I don't fill it with cakes, coffee, alcohol and all the other drugs others may choose simply because in the past those things never made me fall in love with myself deeply like I do now, like in mediation it's about a deep peace of joy and well being, not temporary outside happiness that can be changed to hurt when the weather changes. Everything anyone does, looks at, reads, writes or even hears is their own way of dealing with life around them. We are all on different journeys and different paths in life, there is no right or wrong way in life just a way that works for you and if you are changing then it's a sign something isn't working, progressing is what I chose and that's becoming more of what I already am in ever area I chose, but changing is a different journey and for those on that you need to simply look at who you have around as you are a result of the people you spend time with. I know how the human mind works and can shift a persons pattern within seconds of taking and asking questions and my results on positive psychology speak for themselves. But every master was once a disaster, you can learn the stuff in books but without life experience people won't connect to you and open up as you need the energy of speech to match his you live and what you've lived through, so instead of losing weight as a goal or looking at others just look within your own mind, your own heart, look what emotions you are after in life and go for it. The only reason people don't want 5 legs in the new year is because nobody else has 5 legs, people copy what's around them, they always have and always will. People are not logical in their decisions, they are emotional so always remember this. Unhook the person from the behaviour so you can always live peacefully, people are just people and all they can do is show you their perception to see if it agrees with yours.

Yes I would love the world to go vegan and be healthy and the animals to be free but that's just not going to happen this Christmas or next Christmas is it? People eat turkey for Christmas and enjoy furry boots as a present and it's not because the person wants to go out and kill animals themselves for these things, it's because that's the comfort and lifestyle they were raised in, to me my role models in life eat healthy so I just mirror what I admire and leave the rest as it is. The same as some vegans might go vegan to simply rebel against the hurt they once had growing up, and even with an unhealthy lifestyle of beer and vegan cakes just use the word to separate from society and rebel. But if we all look deeper into every human being we will make choices in life to experience the human needs of comfort, variety, love, connection, growth or contribution. You can't feel all of those needs at once, so for a human to change deeply then it needs to come from inspiration or desperation as without either a person won't do anything different from what they done this year or last.

That's just the way it is, change your psychology and personal philosophy and you can change to have anything you work or think hard for, but you will either need to be desperate and on deaths door in your own suffering or be inspired deeply by getting around someone else with results. Otherwise you will be on diet programmes, products, and a battle with who's right for the rest of your life.

In Scotland were I live there's not many people who attend seminars, never mind read books on success, so even going to an example with life results would be out of their comfort zone so they sill stick with a group without results or go to a teacher without high performing results just to feel at ease and this is what the masses of people do rather than get around a high performer, it's all relevant as not everyone wants to get better, some people just want something to do. Simply put, you don't need to like someone, or envy them because if they have results in any field. You simply just need to learn from them, copy what they do and you get the same results over time and effort, match the story, the blue print, the psychology so when making your making the New Years resolutions if it's losing weight, getting fit, creating business or expanding in any area know the human emotion you are after, the human need you seek, then get a role model and go for it. You need to know the emotion you are after....

If it's comfort you need, then hang around with 10 other people who like to sit on the couch and watch Netflix and you'll be the 11th. If it's love then get around 10 people with successful unconditional love to others and you'll be the 11th. If it's variety then hang about with 10 adventurers and you'll be the 11th. If it's growth and contribution then get around 10 people who practice and live in their own truth and you'll be the 11th. You are a result of your peer group, simple as that.

Make your goals match your lifestyle, let your mindset be at peace and let this writing be simply writing to you that you read in your own voice, if you disagree with it then it's only your voice that you disagree with as 90% of communication is done with tone of voice remember and that's why I thrive in real life and don't get the results in writing (yet). Writing is just something I enjoy, something I love and something I share but people are overweight today and overeat for deeper reasons than information of the food they eat now, it's down to social conditioning, fear of change, food addiction and the emotional needs and certainty of what they already know. The funny thing is take any human and throw them in adversity to do without and they will all thrive, we live in a culture based on tv, packaged foods and comfort that people never experience tough times which can be a good thing I guess but with life and health coaches now who have never overcame anything in life but an education course of remember what your told from books validation paper and happy smiley sticker to say you can work in a field that some other person made up based on what you remembered and probably will go through life writing expensive note books on other people's overcoming of adversity to try and mirror as their own. I simply write to make you think, its not to be popular otherwise I would just upload what's trending on Twitter like a football result or political debate.



My results in life are purely psychological, if your learning leads to knowledge then you will simply be a fool all of your days. Knowledge should always lead to massive action and that action leads to life experience and from heeled pain from life experience will give wisdom and the wisest people on earth today are the ones who simply live their life to learn it all, and keep on learning not those who know it all from a paper pass of life. So as I'm reaching 30 years old, I know that I know nothing about others but I know everything about myself which is why I get results in everything I look at. But you would have to be a complete idiot to not see deeply that humans will get results in any field based on their daily behaviour and what human needs they go after by what they do. It's harder to read what way a fox or dog will run in the city centre than it is watching a humans pattern of behaviour in the city. It's not who you know, it's what you know and when you know you will always loon to know more, be more, do more, give more and live more.
