NOVEMBER 9 Jamil Sheriff Quartet (pictured)
Pianist Jamil Sheriff is Head of Jazz at Leeds College of Music. He is known throughout the UK Jazz scene for his lyrical and rhythmic approach to original music, and this latest project is no exception.
The group features Josh Kemp, saxes, Dave Walsh, drums and Pete Turner, bass, and has been together since 2012. This tour is promoting their debut album 'Places Like This’, a collection of exciting music that shows off these extremely accomplished musicians. £7 (£6)

Northern clarinet and tenor sax player Tina is a regular performer at the club, having gained experience with the Stan Kenton tribute band, the New Squadronaires and Tony Faulkener

NOVEMBER 30 Nikki Iles and Stan Sulzmann
It is 20 years since legendary saxophonist Stan Sulzmann and pianist Nikki Iles recorded their
first album together. This evening they are playing music from their latest CD, Stardust, which features improvisations on ‘elegant old standards’. As a display of technical and mental agility these pieces verge on the stupendous, but they also have great charm. £8 (£7)
