Babelfish Friday 5 October
Wakefield Jazz’s autumn programme opens this Friday (5th Oct) with Babelfish - the best of contemporary cosmopolitan jazz with compositions by Brigitte Beraha (voc) and Barry Green (piano), and top rhythm team Chris Laurence (bass) and Paul Clarvis (drums).
As ever, doors open 7.00pm, food available (best to book first - see website) - band onstage 8.30pm for two sets, with the famous raffle and bookstall during the interval. Venue is Wakefield Sports Club, Eastmoor Road WF1 3RR
