Wigan Jazz Club restart live sessions - Entrepreneur Generations


Organisers of Wigan Jazz Club (The Music Continuum cic) have announced the restart of their live jazz concerts. The newly branded series ‘Sunday Jazz in Wigan’ gets underway on Sunday 1st August at 12.30pm with the Al Wood Quartet (Al Wood saxophone, Martin Longhawn piano, Dave Lynane double bass Dave Hassell drums) September 26th features SK2 Jazz Orchestra musical director Dave Tyas playing the music of Stan Kenton, Sunday 31st October with Nicola Farnon Trio (Nicola Farnon vocals & double bass) Richard Wetherall piano, Phil Johnson drums) Sunday 28th November Frank Griffith Quintet with Frank Griffith & Mike Hall tenor saxophones, Andrez Baranek piano Ed Harrison double bass Eryl Robert drums. 

All concerts start at 12.30pm and take place at Whelley Ex Servicemen’s Club Vauxhall Rd Wigan WN13LU. Tickets available in advance from justaddtickets.co.uk
